The next day your guide takes you on an Exciting 4 days Tanzania camping Adventure that allows you to travel at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury of your own safari jeep and take the liberty to stop and watch the animals as long as you like!
Depart Arusha at 07:30 am for a drive to Materuni village is a beautifully lush area to visit on the outskirts of Moshi Here you can really get to grips with the life of the local Chagga people wandering through the village and passing their homesteads Located in the picturesque foothills of Kilimanjaro Materuni has managed to retain its authentic edge over some of the other tourist attractions as it is not one of the routes for climbing Kilimanjaro.
Here your guide will explain all aspects of the Chagga homestead including the other crops that they grow aside from coffee You will get to see how the coffee is produced from picking the bean to roasting and then drinking a delicious cup yourself. Following your coffee tour, you will then take a short hike make sure to wear some good shoes as it can be muddy up there passing through local villages to reach the waterfalls. At sunset, you will return to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

In the morning you will be picked up from your Accommodation in Arusha by our personal safari guide. Tarangire National Park is well known for its big groups of elephants and the huge amount of giant baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and are actually a source of water for elephants in the dry season as they have a special technique to draw water from them. Besides, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the dry season, which is why in this season in Tarangire you can see groups of up to 250 elephants next to many more animals!

Rise and shine! It is an early departure to the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once you have reached the crater rim, you will drive down a steep track into the 600 m deep caldera to see a range of animals and birds. The caldera (collapsed volcano) is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and more than 500 species of birds.
After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater.

Lake Manyara National Park lies between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, right along the 400 meters deep Great Rift Valley. The park boasts a variety of landscapes that attract many different animals. You can for example visit the lake, pass through a dense rainforest with hundreds of monkeys and birds, see elephants up close in the woodlands and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool with many hippos bathing from early morning to late evening. Drive back to Arusha in late Afternoon. This will be the End of your 4 Days Tanzania Camping Adventure.
