A MAGICAL safari
EXCEPTIONAL! The first word that comes to mind and the one that best summarizes our 4 days of safari. We were blown away, wild animals just a few meters from us, families of cheetahs, lions, elephants. Our only regret is not having seen a leopard. But we know how much they love to hide. An incredible experience! Our guide was very professional, kind, and passionate. He was always attentive to our comfort and did his best to give us an unforgettable safari experience. We spent 4 exceptional days on safari in Tanzania with our two Maasai guides and Amann. A truly unforgettable experience! They were both very professional, kind, attentive, and always in a good mood. Thanks to their knowledge and experience, we were able to discover the parks and observe many animals in incredible conditions. They also took the time to explain many things to us and to answer all our questions. We spent 4 wonderful days during the Tarangire - Serengeti - Ngorongoro Safari tour. The landscapes and the richness of the savanna are breathtaking; we were lucky enough to observe a huge number of animals, including the famous big five! Everything was perfect: the warm welcome, the explanations, the hotels, the food, the guidance. The guides are always taking great care of us and know the savanna like the back of their hand. They are very respectful of the places and the animals. A huge thank you to Denis and Bryson, who accompanied us throughout this stay. We will always remember this unique experience and them. We had an amazing safari with Ilmaasai through Wander Where Adventures, and I honestly couldn’t recommend Maasai and Collin more. Being a local family made the experience feel so much more personal, and Collin really went above and beyond for our group. He took care of all the little details, taught us so much about the animals and Tanzania, and always had the best recommendations for food, places to visit, and things to do. He was funny, patient, calm, and somehow always made sure everything was running smoothly. He even came with us to Zanzibar to help with the group, which says a lot about how much he genuinely cared about our experience. By the end of the trip, Collin didn’t really feel like our guide anymore—he felt like a friend, and thankfully he’s actually become one since the trip! I went to a 5 days safari with Ilmaasai on septembre 2026 and it was an amazing experience. Regarding the programm : first day was the ride from Arusha to Tarangire and safari day in Tarangire. Second day was road to Ngororo and safari day in Ngororo crateer + road to Serengeti. Then 3 nights and days in the Serengeti national park + come back to Arusha. It was so incredible, the 3 parks are differents and complete each other in term of wildlife and landscape. I advise you to do the 3 of it. We have seen all the wildlife it was possible to see in Tanzania, from animals to birds. Regarding the nights : we have chosen the cheaper option, and it was already really cosy. The first 2 nights are in beautiful hôtels, and then comes the camping time in Serengeti. I will not miss this experience. You are not alone, you have good matress, a pillow and a sleeping bag, you have showers and toilets (but bring a light with you), a place to eat and to charge your phone : it was really cool to be here !! Regarding the food : just wow, first day our flight was late and mama of Christian was waiting for us with a hot meal, and the day aster, Philippe the super cooker has joined the trip and since this day, he cooked for us such incredible handmade and fresh dishes for every meal : breakfirst, lunch and dinner. I could not have dreamt of better. Regarding our guides : Christian and Silvester were our guides for all 5 days, and im so happy my way has crossed theirs. They have taken care of us in all possible ways : answering our questions, finding the best spot for the wildlife, helping us with everythings, phone charger, sim card, watching for us in the camp, taking pictures for us, visit markets with us, and it was so cool to have them with us all the time ! A simply incredible safari! 🦁🐘🦒 We were lucky enough to see a huge number of animals, including the complete Big 5, and to have a truly unforgettable experience. A big thank you to our guide Denis, who was great, passionate, attentive, and always in a good mood. Thanks also to Bryson, our driver, who was an excellent driver and knew every corner of the parks to see the maximum number of animals. Everything was perfectly organized, and we also really appreciated the hotels that had been chosen: they were really very good, with good meals and a pleasant welcome. We recommend this experience 100%! If you want to discover Tanzania and have an exceptional safari, you can go there with your eyes closed. An unforgettable safari with Ilmaasai Expedition ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We went on a safari in Tanzania in August with Ilmaasai Expedition, through three magnificent parks: Tarangire, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. An exceptional experience that we highly recommend! From the very beginning of the trip planning, we were very well supported by Collin, who was an exceptional contact: very responsive, attentive to our wishes, and always provided very good advice. He perfectly understood our expectations and knew how to support us in the preparation of this trip with great professionalism. We were also lucky to be accompanied by two guides, Alois and Bryson, who were both brilliant, each in their own field. Alois, who accompanied us in particular because we wanted a French-speaking guide, possesses excellent knowledge of the Kilimanjaro mountains. Passionate, friendly, and very professional, we would trust him with our eyes closed for a hike on Kilimanjaro, whether in French or in English. If you are looking for an excellent guide to discover Kilimanjaro, we recommend him without hesitation! Bryson, for his part, brought us his expertise and his knowledge of the wildlife and the parks. He allowed us to learn a tremendous amount throughout the safari. He was always very attentive to our wishes and did his utmost so that we could fully enjoy every moment. We were also won over by the hotels and lodges selected by the agency: they were all exceptional, with magnificent settings and, above all, adorable, warm, and very attentive staff. It was a real pleasure to return to these accommodations every evening after our days of safari. Thanks to the whole team, we had an unforgettable safari, perfectly organized from start to finish, and we are leaving with extraordinary memories.
