You will depart from Arusha in the morning for your flight (Flight included in the cost) to the Serengeti National Park. Sit back and relax as Tanzania’s stunning landscape unrolls beneath you. Upon your arrival in Serengeti, your Ilmaasai expedition driver guide will meet you and you will commence a day-long exploration of the Serengeti National Park. You will chase the vast herds of zebras and wildebeest, look for lions sunning themselves on rocks, spy shy leopards in acacia trees, and marvel at the majesty of elephants and giraffes as they graze. During the day, you will enjoy a picnic lunch while out on safari, before returning in th evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Another early morning game drive to the Western/Northern part of Serengeti and witness the great wildebeest migration river crossing. If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you to go on a balloon safari (Not included in cost). It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at lobo area

Another full day of game drive in serengeti until sunset, then dinner and overnight in the Lobo area (or Seronera).

Another early morning game drive in north Serengeti towards central Serengeti while searching for Predators. In the afternoon you Drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Early breakfast at 7:00 am drive to Tarangire. This park is often referred to as the "home of elephants", you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons! In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for overnight or flight to Zanzibar.
Please note that the Tanzania Experience 5 Days safari ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 17.30 hours. Your departure can only take place today if you have pre-booked a domestic flight which leaves from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 19.40 hours or after, or an international flight which leaves at 21.00 hours or after. Otherwise, you will need to book an extra night’s accommodation (not included in the tour price unless you need to) and take a flight the following day.
