When you choose hiking and trekking as a part of your Tanzania Adventure, you have a multitude of destinations to choose from. Your budget will also affect your choices, Mt. Kilimanjaro is rather expensive, but the other destinations like Usambara Mountains or Uluguru Mountains are cheap.

Most travellers will include some hiking in a larger package, and you might want to do hiking or walking safaris in one of the parks or reserves, but then you’ll have to be escorted by armed rangers due to the

wildlife present.
